Private transfers to Méribel

Méribel is not a commune of its own: it belongs to Les Allues and occupies the valley of the same name — the middle one, between Saint-Bon to the east and the Belleville valley to the west. The valley is inhabited on five levels: Les Allues (1,100 m), Méribel Village (1,400 m), Méribel Centre (1,450 m), Méribel Les Hauts (1,600 m) and Méribel-Mottaret (1,750 m).

Centre and Mottaret: two welcome points, two arrivals

This is the most common confusion on this destination. Méribel Centre and Méribel-Mottaret are the resort’s two official welcome points, but they lie several kilometres and three hundred metres of altitude apart. A booking that just says “Méribel” leaves the question open until arrival — the worst possible moment to ask it.

How it is reached

From Moûtiers the D90 climbs the valley for eighteen kilometres, the itinerary the tourist office itself describes. The hamlets strung along that road are linked to each other by shuttles, but a private transfer goes straight to your address — which is the whole point, provided we know it.

Winter and changeover Saturday

Winter equipment is required in Savoie from 1 November to 31 March; the French traffic authority rates February Saturdays red, with official advice to avoid the RN90 between Albertville and Moûtiers from 9am to 7pm. We build the schedule with a margin matched to your actual arrival, and adjust it on the day.

Luggage and the vehicle

A boot fills with volume, not with people. Skis, snowboards, your own equipment: describe the load when you book and we choose the vehicle accordingly, rather than discovering it on the forecourt.
