Privacy policy

What this site actually collects, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights.

What this page covers

This page describes how this website actually works as at the date shown at the foot of the page, rather than how a website of this kind typically works. Processing that does not take place is not described here; conversely, any processing that begins will be reflected in a dated update to this page.

The data controller is the operating company identified in the legal notice.

Information you send us

This site has three forms, and they are the only means by which it collects personal data:

  • Contact — name, email address, subject, message.
  • Group quote — pick-up point, destination, date, number of passengers, number and ages of children where you give them, ski equipment, type of group, one way or return, email address.
  • Trade partners — company name, type of business, country, contact name, business email address, telephone, estimated volume, resorts served, allotment requirements.

Required fields are marked in the form. Everything else is optional: what you do not fill in is not collected.

What we do not collect

This site asks for no date of birth, no identity document and no card details: no payment is taken on this site. Nor does it ask for health information, opinions or any other special category of data. Where a particular request makes such information necessary, it is handled by direct correspondence with our operations team, never through a form on this site.

No personal data plays any part in calculating a price. Price depends on the journey — route, date, capacity required — never on an assumed profile of the enquirer, their device or their browsing history.

What we do with it

Form data is used solely to handle your enquiry: to understand what you need, check that it is feasible, prepare a proposal and reply to you.

Lawful basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, for the quote and partnership forms; our legitimate interest in answering enquiries we receive, for the contact form.

Your data is not sold, rented or passed on for advertising purposes.

Where the data actually goes

A form submission is sent by email to Alps Executive operations mailboxes — contact@, bookings@ or partners@ depending on the form. It is not stored in the website database.

Two temporary technical items exist on the server around the time of submission: a lock lasting a few minutes that prevents duplicate sending, and a carry-over of your input errors so they can be shown back to you. Both expire on their own within minutes.

The data then lives in the operator’s business mailbox, and in the client file if your enquiry becomes a booking.

Retention

An enquiry that does not proceed is kept for as long as is useful to deal with it, then deleted from the operations mailbox. An enquiry that becomes a service falls under the accounting and tax retention rules applicable to invoices and supporting documents.

Recipients and processors

The data is accessible only to the operations staff dealing with the enquiry.

The site and its email are hosted by the provider identified in the legal notice, within the European Union. This site makes no transfer of data outside the European Union.

What is not active today, and may be later

For the sake of accuracy, here is what this site does not do at present:

  • No analytics. No measurement identifier is configured; no measurement script is loaded and no measurement cookie is set.
  • No advertising, no retargeting, no embedded social networks.
  • No flight tracking. No flight number is passed to any third-party service.
  • No booking record is created automatically from the site: the journey ends in an enquiry sent to our operations team.

Should any of these begin, this page will be updated with a new date and, where consent is required, your choice will be sought beforehand.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Form submissions are protected against cross-site request forgery and against repeated automated sending. Administration areas and the partner area require authentication, and negotiated rates are accessible only to active trade accounts.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port the data concerning you.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@alpsexecutive.com stating what you are asking for. We reply within one month. If our reply does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL).
