Lyon → Courchevel

Lyon-Saint-Exupéry is not a resort airport. It is a connecting hub, with two passenger terminals and a TGV station on the airport site. For a stay in Courchevel, that difference has a very practical consequence: members of the same party often arrive separately, on different flights and sometimes hours apart.

When a party does not arrive together

This is the most common question on this route, and it has no generic answer. Depending on the gap between flights, the size of the party and the volume of luggage, the answer may be a single pick-up after the last landing, two separate departures, or a first vehicle followed by a second. Each carries a different cost and a different benefit.

What we do is ask the question before you book rather than on arrival: give us everyone’s flight numbers and we will propose an arrangement that holds, with its price. Waiting three hours in a terminal is not a service; ignoring the problem at booking is not either.

Two terminals, one meeting point

The airport’s official site lists two passenger terminals. Yours depends on your airline, and we work it out from your flight number, which we track. A delay moves the pick-up without you having to call.

At the other end: a resort on several levels

Courchevel is a commune of Savoie in its own right and occupies the Saint-Bon valley. The name covers several stepped levels: the full address decides the approach and sometimes the vehicle. We ask for it when you book.

Passenger details and the return to Lyon

For a Lyon Airport to Courchevel transfer, send the number of adults and children, any child-seat requirements, and a separate count of suitcases, skis and snowboards. Include the name and full address of your accommodation, rather than only “Courchevel”. These details help check the vehicle configuration before you confirm the journey.

For the return, provide the flight departure time and the pickup address. If part of your party returns by train, distinguish Lyon Saint-Exupéry TGV from a station in central Lyon; they are different destinations.
