Grenoble Alpes Isère is a winter charter airport: a single hall, quick kerbside access, and a road east that runs about 175 km — around 2 h 15 in free-flowing conditions — to Courchevel. The driver waits at the arrivals exit with a name board, the flight is tracked, and the pick-up is planned off the aircraft’s actual arrival rather than the schedule.
The route reads simply: through the Grésivaudan valley past Grenoble, the Albertville corridor, then the RN90 — free 2×2 lanes — to Moûtiers and the final 30-minute climb on the D915 and D91A to your level of Courchevel, from Le Praz and La Tania up to 1850. The distance is measured to the tourist office at Courchevel 1850, never to your accommodation.
Saturday is both the airport’s charter peak and the Tarentaise’s changeover day: baggage delivery and the RN90 each run slower, so departures are planned with margin — the day’s journey time is prepared for, never promised.
