Valley
Vallée des Belleville
Les Menuires belongs to the commune of Les Belleville and is reached before Val Thorens on the same valley road. What makes it distinctive is its shape: the resort does not gather around a single centre, it spreads across five quarters along the slope — La Croisette, the resort core at 1,850 m, then Preyerand, Les Fontanettes, Grand Reberty and Les Bruyères.
“Les Menuires” names an area, not an address
Two properties quoting the same resort name may be reached by quite different approaches. The quarter is therefore the piece of information that lets us choose the approach, anticipate a drop-off constraint and, where needed, warn the chauffeur of an unusual manoeuvre. The quarters are linked to each other by shuttles, but a private transfer is only worth it if it sets you down in the right place first time.
If your party is split across several properties
Not a problem — but necessary information: those properties may not be neighbours, and one drop-off can turn into three stops. We are glad to organise it, provided we know at booking.
Access, winter and Saturday
From Moûtiers the D117 climbs the Belleville valley for twenty-seven kilometres according to the tourist office. Winter equipment is required in Savoie from 1 November to 31 March; the French traffic authority rates February Saturdays red, with official advice to avoid the RN90 between Albertville and Moûtiers from 9am to 7pm.
Which gateway you can book from
Les Menuires can be booked from Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry and Moûtiers station.
