• Clearing the terminal. Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc airport, operated by VINCI Airports, is crossed quickly — except when several flights have landed together.
• The vehicle presenting. Timed to when you actually come out, because pick-up spaces there are limited.
• Arriving in the village. Saint-Martin-de-Belleville is an old village: narrow streets, constrained manoeuvring, and a vehicle size that is anything but neutral.
• The key handover. It has a time, and that time is not ours.

The village in its valley

Saint-Martin-de-Belleville gave the commune its name before it became Les Belleville. It is the first and lowest of the valley’s three arrivals: less constraint from altitude, more from vehicle size.
