Its official title — Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-les-Bains — says what matters: this station does not serve one resort, it serves the Tarentaise. Passengers stepping off disperse to every valley of the ski area — Saint-Bon, Les Allues, the Belleville — and the final leg is short: the real question of a rail arrival is not the road, it is getting from the platform to the vehicle.
From the platform to the vehicle
You do not collect your bags from a belt: you lift them down from the train, onto a platform, often with skis, and often at the same moment as several hundred other travellers. What a private transfer changes comes down to two things: a precise meeting point, sent before you travel, and a vehicle timed to your train’s actual arrival — your train number is enough, and a delay moves the pick-up with no action from you.

Several trains then set their passengers down in close succession and the forecourt fills within minutes — being in the right place at the right moment matters more than any average journey time.
How this differs from an airport transfer
A plane checks in within a window; a train leaves to the minute. On the way home the margin is calculated against your train’s fixed departure — leaving the property, the descent on a changeover day, crossing the forecourt with skis — not against an average drive.
