Bourg-Saint-Maurice railway station

Bourg-Saint-Maurice is the terminus: the Tarentaise railway stops here, at 840 m, and everything higher continues by road. In season the station receives direct TGVs from Paris and the winter ski trains from London, which arrive together and empty onto a single concourse — the driver therefore waits at the concourse exit with a name board, and the car is loaded a few steps away.
