Private transfers to Les Arcs

Les Arcs stacks four purpose-built villages up the mountainside above Bourg-Saint-Maurice — Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000, each named for its altitude — with Peisey-Vallandry completing the Paradiski link towards La Plagne. The altitudes are not interchangeable: 1800 is the largest and liveliest; 1950 is a pedestrian village where cars stop at the entrance; 2000 is the highest, the last one the road reaches; 1600 is also served by the funicular straight from Bourg-Saint-Maurice station.

Four altitudes, four arrivals

The climb starts in Bourg-Saint-Maurice — around thirty minutes of switchbacks to Arc 1800, a little more to 2000. Arc 1950 is car-free at its core: the driver drops at the village entrance where trolleys and porters take over, something worth knowing before arriving at night with skis. For Peisey-Vallandry the turn-off comes before Bourg-Saint-Maurice: it changes the route, so the booking carries the village, not just “Les Arcs”.

Paradiski, by cable

From Montchavin–Les Coches on the Peisey side, the Vanoise Express double-decker cable car crosses to La Plagne — together the two resorts form Paradiski. Split stays ski across while the luggage moves by road, a logistics detail planned at booking.
