Depending on group and equipment
La Plagne cannot be summed up by one altitude. The commune, in the Tarentaise, is made of eleven villages spread between 1,250 m and 2,050 m: Plagne Centre, Belle Plagne, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne Villages, Plagne Soleil, Plagne 1800 and Aime-la-Plagne on the plateau, Plagne Montalbert to the west, Montchavin and Les Coches on the Vanoise Express side, and Champagny-en-Vanoise around the mountain entirely. “La Plagne” on its own is therefore not an arrival address: it is the first question we ask you.
Aime decides the climb
From Geneva the journey follows the Tarentaise — Annecy, Albertville, Moûtiers — on dual carriageway almost to Aime, where the mountain takes over. The plateau villages share the D221 from Aime before splitting near the top; Montalbert has its own road; Montchavin and Les Coches turn off at Landry; Champagny is reached from Moûtiers by its own valley, before Aime altogether. Two villages of the same resort can sit forty minutes apart — your village chooses the road, the time, and in snow, the conditions.
Arriving in the village
Drop-off is at the residence or hotel wherever the village road network allows. The cores of Belle Plagne and Plagne 1800 are pedestrian: the driver stops at the closest authorised point and walks the luggage with you — worth knowing when you land late with skis. For split stays across Paradiski, the Vanoise Express crosses to Les Arcs from Montchavin–Les Coches while the luggage travels by road.

Frequently asked questions — Private Transfer Geneva Airport → La Plagne
On this route
Which village of La Plagne do you serve?
All eleven — from Plagne Centre and Belle Plagne to Montchavin, Les Coches and Champagny-en-Vanoise. The village changes the final road and the timing, which is why we ask for the full address at booking.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
The flight number given at booking is tracked and the driver adjusts to the actual arrival time — including late-evening landings.
Is the journey time shown guaranteed?
No — it is a base measured in free-flowing traffic without winter conditions. Changeover Saturdays and snowfall extend it, which is why departure times are planned with margin.
Can you drop us at the Vanoise Express for Les Arcs?
Yes — the double-decker cable car to Les Arcs leaves from Montchavin–Les Coches. Say so at booking and the drop-off is planned there, luggage logistics included.
